I get so excited when I get to photograph new venues. There are so many options North of Toronto that I get to discover each year, and Trillium Resort & Spa in Huntsville was one of them <3 The venue has a beautiful reception space with cathedral ceilings, overlooking the lake. What I also love is that your guests can stay in adorable cabins right on the property so the dont have to worry about getting home in the dark.
Meghan & Darnelle: Man, these two have such a special place in my heart! I’ll never forget the ceremony that saturated the space with so much emotion. Darnelle’s anticipation as Meghan walked down the aisle was so touching, (so touching in fact that one of those series of photos got picked for “The Love Actually Collection” in Toronto at the Gladstone hotel! — it happens every February and I highly recommend you check it out!). The emotions continued throughout the night with heartfelt speeches by all of their siblings and families; + lots of dance battles (Darnelle, its soooo refreshing to see a guy with rhythm on the dance floor! hah - I do find its rarity IMO.)
