Mike & Ashley are one of my couples that needed to post-pone their Wedding due to Covid 19. I am so grateful to have couples out there that want to work together to make it through this hard time for everyone; It’s challenging for small businesses navigating this unpredictable time. I also know how hard it is for my couples that are trying to get every single one of their vendors on board for their new re-scheduled date; but working together with compassion for one another will make all the difference. I am so happy I still get to photograph their wedding, even if the date got pushed back a bit.
In honour of A&M, I wanted to share their engagement session up in Port Albert, Ontario, where Mike’s family cottage is. We started the day with walking around the cute little town of Goderich, stopping at their favorite spots like Culbert’s Bakery, and then headed to their cottage nestled right on Lake Huron. I love how my couples instantly relax when they get to their happy place, which is why I love promoting these cottage adventure sessions. The Moon beamed down while the sun set over the water, as we listened to the crackling sounds of the fire and crashing of the waves . I only spent one day up there, but the feeling of that moment will settle in my memory every time I look back at these photos; I’m so happy I’m able to do the same for Mike & Ashley. <3 So much love to you both!!
