Charming Elora Mill Winter Wedding // M&T

The wild 2020 year began with Monique and Taylor’s Wedding at Elora Mill, a former grain store, in the quaint town of Elora, ON. Although M&T’s wedding was pre-pandemic, the day was not shy of its forthcoming shenanigans. A rain storm hit Elora that day with enough flooding to create a power outage for 6 hours. The ceremony was mostly candle lit (thank goodness for my camera flash!), and music was played by bluetooth speakers, except when Monique walked down the aisle, the music lost reception and so the guests proceeded to sing the rest of the song “Can’t help falling in love”. After a few hours, the coordinator, Danielle Deebank, finally sourced a generator for the wedding so that the festivities could go on (especially the Dueling Piano Band they had booked for their reception). Even with all the elaborate planning, nobody could have foreseen the flood; but I believe there is pure magic when you learn to surrender, and embrace what the day holds for you. Check out their beautiful day below <3
