Tamara and Paul's Rave Wedding was definitely a highlight of my 2016 wedding season and you can all be a witness to it because it was all filmed for a new TV show coming out on Bell Media! {show name TBD but will announce on Instagram}
My heart beat with excitement at our initial meeting together when they mentioned that they wanted to highlight their love for electronic house music with a rave-type reception. Electronic French House specifically gives me such a euphoric bodily sensation that I could definitely resonate with their reasoning for wanting to incorporate their love for music on their wedding day. Romar & David from Spotlight Audio Visual Inc did an amazing job with the lighting setup and Paul's groomsman was the talented DJ of the night that brought the room to life, even the baby boomers!
Tam and Paul got ready at the beautiful Shangri-La hotel downtown Toronto with their closest family and friends + a film crew from Bell Media TV. After their first look outside the hotel, they got into their Rolls Royce and drove to their wedding venue, District 28, a very creative, very open and very raw space. It's pretty much all white and so it's a blank canvas that anyone can work with.
The ceremony was ambiently lit with candles, the reception lit with huge marquee lights f their names by Pulp Function and the dance-floor was LIT. period. (yeah, im pretty on top of the lingo these days). A photo booth in one room and ice-cream being made by dry ice in another, this day was full of little surprises. Check out a few photos of the day below!
